Elicia Magaña

Founder & CEO, KIMA

Elicia Magaña is an accomplished event manager who has spent eleven years in the events industry, overseeing strategy, planning, negotiations, budgeting, and logistics all across the country. She has handled budgets as high as $1 million, and she has put on more than 150 events to date. Thriving in high-pressure environments, she is someone whom others trust, turning to her when nothing but full reliability is acceptable. Her specialty is enhancing events, aiming for high-quality every time she is in charge. She has served high-end clientele throughout Los Angeles County, and the audiences at her events range in size from 20 to 10,000. By offering full-service event management, she empowers her clients to focus on whatever it is they do best and leave all the event details up to her.

From conferences to galas to fundraisers to community events, Elicia has taken charge of many high-profile, high-pressure events, including the 2018 Small Business Summit featuring Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. More recently, she started development work on the Los Angeles County Women’s Leadership Conference, an event that is particularly close to her heart and into which she is throwing the full weight of her event production experience.

Elicia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at the University of California, San Diego. Since 2016, she has owned and operated her own full-service event production company – KIMA – which has become known all across Los Angeles for reliability and innovation in the event industry. A forward thinker through and through, she is always thinking of fresh and new ideas to bring to her events. Check out some of KIMA’s recent projects
